Here at The Wheatsheaf Inn our aim is to give that little extra quality in what we provide both in terms of food & drink and service. We use one of the very best butchers in England, F.C. Phipps supplying us with the finest home grown produce including Lincoln Red Beef, Rutland Lamb, and Norfolk Free Range Chicken. We also use local veg suppliers and growers ensuring that we put money back in to local businesses, with our homemade chips from local grown Maris Piper potatoes being a real hit. Our ales and lagers are of the finest quality with the German Warsteiner premium lager being received with raptous applaud, and with Batemans supplying most of our ale it proves to be a winning combination. We have been told on numerous occasions that we serve one of the best pints of Guinness in the area and our real ale is second to none. This is down to our hard work in keeping the standards high in every area from cellar to glass. So when your next in the area why not come and try some good honest quality you can really appreciate.
